After undergoing comprehensive renovation work lasting 18 months, the Carlton Hotel reopened its doors in 2007. With its prominent position at an altitude of almost 2,000 metres above sea level, sweeping views over Lake St. Moritz and 60 suites designed by Carlo Rampazzi, the Carlton St. Moritz is one of the most stunning hotels in Switzerland. Guests are treated to culinary surprises and exquisite fare in both the Carlton Hotel’s restaurants, the Romanoff (14 GaultMillau points) and the Da Vittorio - St. Moritz (1 Michelin star, 18 GaultMillau points). Covering 1,200 square metres, the Carlton’s spa is spread across three floors and boasts and indoor and outdoor pool, a spacious spa area and the luxuriously appointed treatment rooms offering personal well-being. The Carlton Hotel St. Moritz has been named a Forbes Travel Guide 2019 Star Award Winner. It was awarded five stars in the Swiss Alps category, the first one in St. Moritz.
The Carlton Hotel St. Moritz employs 12 people permanently through the year, with staff numbers growing to around 140 employees during the winter season. The employees, with an average age of 32 years, are mainly from Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Portugal.

Management trainee programme
Would you like to be promoted to the Junior Management team of one of our hotels after just 12 to 18 months of intensive further training?
The Tschuggen Hotel Group is offering you the opportunity to gain comprehensive theoretical and practical experience in two of the main areas of the hotel industry. In our management trainee programme we will offer you on-the-job training in F&B or in Rooms Division Management to promote you to the role of supervisor, deputy departmental manager or outlet manager in our hotels. You will also have the opportunity of taking on projects independently from development to implementation.
