Ascona, 12 April 2016 (ND) – The Hotel Eden Roc is now offering its guests 15 newly designed rooms. Each room features an original work by the German painter Tristan and has been set out by the interior designer Carlo Rampazzi as a brightly coloured complete work of art. There is a special hotel offer available for those who would like to discover more of Ticino's art treasures.
The luxury Hotel Eden Roc in Ascona is now offering its guests 15 rooms with a completely new look. The renovation of the fourth floor includes original works by the German artist Tristan, whose works of art adorn other hotels in the Tschuggen Hotel Group. The freelance artist, whose first names are Wolfgang Frank, lived in Alzey in Rheinhessen for 30 years, which is where the owners of the privately owned Tschuggen Hotel Group hail from. Tristan personally selected a large abstract palette of colours for each room. The Ticino interior designer Carlo Rampazzi has ingeniously combined the compositions with the interior furnishings, thereby providing space and energy for the dynamic works of art. Art lovers and creative individuals can benefit from the hotel's Art special. From CHF 825.00 per person, this includes three nights in one of the newly designed rooms, and admission to the Museo Epper in Ascona and the Ghisla Art Collection in neighbouring Locarno. Guests planning a trip to the Maggia valley are also invited to visit the sculpture atelier of Guido Caminada.
The telephone number of the Hotel Eden Roc for reservations and further information is +41 (0)91 785 71 71. The offer is also available online on edenroc.ch.
